About the running backs AND the running game!I really think that this is the year that the Cardinals "unleash" a potent running attack upon the NFL and I don't think they are going to be ready for it.I think Tim Hightower is primed for a big year and Beanie Wells is going to be exciting to watch. The Cards are going to hurt some teams bad with the run, then burn them with BIG PLAYS in the passing game.I've been waiting for this to come together for years: A powerful running game(yeah I said POWERFUL) to go along with a powerful passing game.Yeah,it's here, the NFL just don't know about it yet but they will very, very soon. The 49ers are first on the list to find out.Wouldn't it be something if the Cardinals go out and just hit the 49ers in the mouth on Sunday in light of all of the gloom and doom you all(and some of the media) have been painting?I bet that would get somebody's attention. Also I'm excited about LSH returning kicks and as a possible third-down back. The kid got skills. Can't wait until Sunday!!!

I was thinking the same thing! I would love to see this team come out and run right down their throat on the first drive for a td without using any of their receivers. The 49ers (among others):Cards logo: would be shocked!

The moment we prove we can run the ball on people with Hightower/Wells is the moment teams know we could be the favorites to win superbowl 44. No one could really stop our passing game last year. If you can't contain our run game either how will you stop us? Obviously the defense has to improve as well. Give up a touchdown less a game and we'll be a very very good team.

The few plays I watched Beanie have in the preseason has me even more excited for this season.

I'm cautiously excited. Even though we didn't really "click" on offense during the preseason, I am not at all worried about our scoring big in the regular season. My main concern is the defense. Last year was proof of that and, IMO, we made some improvement on defense but still haven't got all the pieces in place and are only one injury away from disaster. As we all know, we have no depth at CB or SS. I would like to have seen those two spots played more aggressively in preseason and only hope the vanilla schemes were really a 180 of what we'll put on the field come Sunday. Davis has a lot of work ahead in getting us ready for our "suprise" debut, and my only wish is the suprise isn't only a little tweak on what we did last year!!!

If our O'line can block like they did in the playoff games, we are going to have a great year. They showed they can play, let's keep it consistent!
