Dude was quick...made some huge plays...he's still available, right?...any chance they bring him back cheaper?

Dude was quick, made a few big plays. Broke probably 10 tackles over his entire time w/ the cards. I like all 4 of our running backs better than JJ by far. Even Wright is a better 3rd down back. LSH will be what JJ could have been

Why? Even aside from the fact that he failed his physical with the Broncos, Hightower, Wells, Wright, and LaRod all offer more than him (and no team needs 5 running backs). Arrington was in Whiz's doghouse as late as last season (early on). They had a chance to bring him back before he signed with the Broncos and didn't. With good reason; we didn't draft those two guys (and bring in Wright) for the sake of bringing back an underachieving guy who's had 4 years to prove his worth here.

JJ blocked well too though didn't he?..I agree about the 4 we got as well. No room for JJ. Sorry man thanks for the plays you made last yr. You shouldn't have left for Denver. Otherwise JJ would have a roster spot right now LOL!

Why?

Because this board is infamous for cherishing what we don't have. Wanting guys back after their gone and bagging on them and wanting to dump them when they are here (unless their name is Fitzgerald or Wilson).

Nothing brings the fans out more than trying to get rid of someone or later, then trying to get them back.

I guesso. Personally, I don't see the appeal. Aren't you people excited for the revamped one-cut, faster Hightower? Or Shifty Beanie for crying out loud?!

Forgive my nostalgia, but I would take JJ over Wright as a 3rd down back for the same money.

He knows the offense, has SB experience, and did make plays and has better career stats than Wright.

Not a biggie, just making threads.

No offense taken, and there's some validity to your point about Wright, although I'd have to give him the advantage, since we've only seen what he can do in 4 preseason games, whereas JJ had 4 years.

Either way, it's an exercise in futility, since IMO, JJ and Wright would theoretically be battling it out for the number 4 behind THT, Beanie, and LaRod, in that order.

Like I said. It's JJ's fault that he is not on the roster. Does anyone think Whiz would have cut him in the preseason? Most likely not. Don't feel sorry for him.:poke:

He is not playing football for a reason. Superbowl experience I think is a bit over rated, especially in the regular season.

When seattle brought in edge, I didnt hear them talking about his superbowl experience addition to the team.

Isnt the reason that JJ had a knee operation and wont finish rehab in time to lay any this year?

I hope to see him back playing. He had a rough trot behind some pretty poor play calling and run blocking. If he gets on a roster next year, he will do a job.

Without reading any other post on this subject, JJ is out for the season. This has been common knowledge since February. Google and Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._J._Arrington#Denver_Broncos) can be one's friend.

JJ played great last year...look at his yards per attempt always excellent. Thats why he went to denver with 10million. An injury occured and denver dumped him on the street.

Denver cut him. They didn't place him on IRR. I guess cut is a better word then dumped?

yeah, I know it had something to do with his knee operation and not being completely healed by the time the broncos asked for him to complete his physical. Year long, I have no idea about that tho.

JJ was always undervalued on this board IMO. He made a lot of big plays last year. I remember the KOR to jump start the Dallas victory too and he was a nice safety net for Kurt on check downs.

Is he needed on this team now? I don't think so but I'll reserve that judgement until I see how well the plays he made are made by the newcomers.
