Cardinals @ Jaguars Game Day Thread - 9/20/09

Hi, everybody! Our Cardinals will try to rebound from their opening game loss to the 49ers and also avoid an 0-2 start in their 2009 season as they travel 1800 miles to Northeast Florida to play the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first of their for AFC South Division interconference games of 2009. Cardinals have only played the Jaguars twice since Jacksonville entered the NFL in 1995, but unfortunately the Jaguars have won both meetings by scores of 44-10 at Jacksonville in 2000, and 24-10 at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe back in November 27, 2005.

Chris Myers and former NFL QB Trent Green will announce the live TV game commentary for the NFL On FOX. Today's Cardinals/Jaguars game will not be seen and is blacked out in Northeast Florida and Southeastern Georgia, so only KSAZ Fox 10 in Phoenix, KMSB Fox 11 in Tucson, and KECY Fox 9 Yuma and El Centro will see the game in Arizona and the Imperial Valley in California.

Dave Pasch and Ron Wolfley will also announce the live radio game play-by-play and analysis for flagship station KTAR 92.3FM, and the Arizona Cardinals Radio Network.

Local weather conditions at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium for this morning's 10:00AM Pacific/Arizona Standard Time kickoff does not appear ideal as the forecast is scattered thunderstorms and partly cloudy skies at 88 degrees, feels like 95 degrees, 40% precipitation, 59% humidity, and east/northwest winds at 11 miles per hour.

I wish our Cardinals to play on the field with no penalties, turnovers, and especially no injuries. BADAZ, I agree about the penalties, it is two out of the three in "smart, tough, disciplined". The turnovers however for this team and its style have determined every game for two years. If we make the INT instead of knocking the ball down, if we jar the ball loose on the sack or hit behind the line and if we protect the ball on offense, this team wins, no matter what.

Dude, everyone will criticize when they don't play to their potential. I'm not the only one who was pissed at last week. When I read those articles on the official site I knew a better team would come out today. It has shown and that's why I am not worried.
