Good to see he understands where the fans are right now. I actually thought Rolle had a pretty solid game against the Colts, he's been playing well.

Hopefully the rest of the team pulls it together sooner rather then later. Our stadium is supposed to be a tough place to get a win in the NFL.

That just increased my opinion of Rolle. Nice read. 9-0 has been saying a lot of the same on Twitter too.

Finally someone that is saying something that isnt just "oh we need to play better." Rolle flat out stated that he is GOING to play better. I like that. Rolle is going to man up and give us something to cheer for, or at the very least try.

If I got the same message out of other players on defense then I would be very confident. :cardinals:

"I don't see anything that needs to drastically change except for our protection of our quarterback."

I'm surprised the didn't learn that after week one. Maybe they did I just can't get over the fact the didn't have help to start the game with Dwight Freeney let alone the whole game.

Much better response then what Dansby said.

Rolle just keep improving your tackling!

Rolle is my 2nd favorite player on the D.

"We get paid a lot of money and we need to show that we earn what we get next time out."

Gotta love this attitude, telling it how it is and how it should be.

That's a very true statement but a bit of a ballsy one considering how poor the pass defense has been. I bet the OL don't appreciate the "shot" as they are certainly within their right, as bad as they have played, to say "I don't see anything that needs to drastically change except for our pass defense.."

I agree RFIP,

If we are looking at what is worse, our secondary is worse than our OL.

Hell the OL wouldnt have to pass protect every play in the second half if our secondary would keep the score to within 10 pts and not give up 50 and 70 yd pass plays.

Yes I agree, Im sure Antrell meant well and he said some good things but I would have to disagree with his statement that thats the only thing that needs to change ,though pass protection is a glaring problem,It does kind of sound like calling out the oline as the big or only problem with the team which isnt fair ,but again Im sure he didnt mean to do that it just comes across sounding that way when you make that statement.

If I were Rolle id be angry at the o-line too. The D played great in game 1, but the o-line failed to protect Warner and thus he was out of rhythm.

The first quarter, the D put the Cards in position to take a big lead. But what happens again? O-line fails yet again.

I agree the D has to play much better, but the offense is putting way too much pressure on our D. All first quarter my friends and I kept saying how great the D is playing, but they wont be able to keep it up.

The offense fumbles in the redzone and that was it.

I am happy over again.

Not to mention the 9ers game, Rolle gave our Offense a great return on that final punt, and what did the O-line do?

I appreciate the sentiment, but no more talk. Just performance. I'd rather have a news blackout than reading and listening to a bunch of guys yammering the usual schtick about "looking ourselves in the mirror" and whatnot.

As for Rolle specifically, I've been a frequent critic of his in the past and I will say this: He is not the problem. He made some plays in the 49er game running back punts and giving the offense good field position. He slipped up in the Jax game, but at least he stepped up to volunteer (I presume) to run back punts. He got the pick in the Colts game and had a nice runback.
