WRONG! The "click, clack" is supposed to be like the sounds of the cleats walking out through the tunnel before a game. It has nothing to do guns, but its still dumb. Under Armor is lucky they make a good product because there comercials are dumb.

I've heard "click clack" in more than a few bad gangsta rap songs recently, so that's where I was coming from.

I agree, though - dumb commercial.

I agree that I thought the click clack was cleets on concrete, Vernon Davis has to be one of the scariest looking guys in the NFl, but Griff racked his *****, and he knows it as well as we do. It was disrespectfull to say he had been hit harder, it would have been # 1 hit on JACKED UP if the ref hadn't made that BS call.

I listen to hip-hop and never thought that.. I always thought click clack was the weights being lifted and what not since Vernon Davis is training in the commercial..

Isn't click-clack the sound of Dorothy's shoes in the Wizard of Oz right before she goes home?

Click Clack is the sound of our Basset-Springer mix as she trots all over the house on fake wood floors. She has Basset Hound nails - good for all turf conditions (and digging holes in door trim).

Um, this is in the Off Topic:No Sports Allowed section so chill.

And to clarify, click-clack is supposed to be the sound of cleats on concrete coming up the tunnel. Click-click is the racking of a gun as in that song that goes "click-click, pull!".

It WAS in the "Cardinals Football" section - where he originally posted it. It has since been moved...Just to clarify...

Wouldn't click clack be the kind of menacing noise that your cleats make when a team (silent and determined) walks down the concrete on the tunnel?
I remember this well from high school ball when our GRETNA dragons made it to the State Championship Game in Lincoln!

If what you suggest is true, that is completely idiotic and irrelevant... Don't we already get enough of this 'gangsta,' culture?

A click clack is a toy from the 70's with two very heavy balls attached to each end of a string. You moved your hand up and down getting the balls to smack into each other above and below your hand making a "click clack" sound.

The balls were solid glass and very heavy.

The urban (rap) reference to "click clacks" was their eventual use as a weapon in gang fights.

Eventually the sale of click clacks as a toy was banned because they were dangerous. The balls store alot of kinetic energy and more then one kid whacked himself in the face causing serious injury. Also, the balls could shatter literally sending glass shrapnel piercing the exposed skin of anyone nearby.
