Hot Pockets Pepperoni is better than any of those...
Costco does have some decent pizza though. Not great like Jersey, but decent, and better than those you listed. Cheap too!

My dad's old boss was the founder of Peter Piper actually.
I prefer Barros over all of those.

Barros is great. No complaints here. But what is even better than that is Famous Sam's. If anybody here has never been to Sam's, you gotta check that place out. Kick *** sandwiches too!

That's the great thing about living in New Jersey. You have about 100 mom&pop pizza joints that put any of those to shame plus at these places you can get a sandwich amongst other things to eat. Aside from Pizza Hut the most you get from the others is wings.

I will say that there are alot of good mom & pop pizza joints in St Louis. There is one right next to my dealership called "thatsaniceapizza" and that stuff is awesome!

Pizza Hut is the best of the large chains listed though it's nothing to rave about. All large chain pizzas are devoid of flavor since they cater to the taste buds of ******. NY pizzas are too sweet. Chicago pizzas are tasteless and used to fatten up da cattle. California pizzas are bland chewy bread with wilted veggies. St. Louis pizza has great flavor a very thin crust and is the very best. The general style is typified by Imo's though there are numerous mom and pop carry outs that offer great takes on the style.

I've heard NYPD is good. I also like Pizza Picasso. Streets of NY is pretty good. Red Brick Pizza Oven is alright as well.

I said Famous Sam's pizza. Never mind that. I cannot edit. :banghead:
What I meant to say was UNCLE Sam's Pizza.

I'll show my age here......Does anyone remember Shakey's Pizza? They were all over 30 years ago.
I remember a chain called "Godfather's" that was all over too that was the Chicago style about 25 years ago. It really ushered in an era of bad pizza.

I love Pizza Hut. Mom and pop pizza places must be a western half of the country thing, because I have yet to visit a non-chain pizza restaurant that was better than Pizza Hut, Domino's, or Papa John's.

That's cause you are in the South. I'm from Tennessee. I know the feeling. But until you get out of the South, you will NEVER know good pizza. NEVER! The South is the best for ribs, barbeque, fried chicken, and such....but not for pizza. Not mexican either. I bet you probably think Taco Bell is good mexican food? :iconrolf: Not even close!
The best food is based on geography. Yeah, that thing we studied in 4th grade. The best pizza comes from the places where there are the most Italians and Sicilians at. That would be Jersey, NY, Chicago. The best Mex comes from the heavily populated mexican areas. That would be AZ, Texas, NM, and southern Cal, anywhere along the southern corridor of Mexico basically. The best ribs, barbeque, and fried chicken comes from the South. Rednecks who know how to do it right! The northeast and the northwest has their particular seafood. Lobster up the eastern seaboard, crab up the alaskan seaboard. The cajun's in the gulf have the shrimp and oysters.
Point is, you need to step out of Missouri to make a better judgment on the best pizza.
And BTW, you know that by making that statement, that you have waged a pizza war with our upper east coast Cards fans, don't ya? :lollollol:

Not so, because I'm from the East Coast. Yeah, it does say I'm from Missouri. I just go to school here. I'm from Virginia originally and up to this year, I had lived there my entire life. To be honest with you, having not eaten at Taco Bell in 3 years, I can't remember what Taco Bell tastes like. I know that the best Mexican food is made by Mexicans, which we happen to have a few of in Virginia. My judgments are made in Virginia, I have never eaten at a pizza place in Missouri simply because I can eat on campus. That's my reason for saying mom and pop pizza places in the East are nothing special.
And how is Missouri considered part of the South anyway? The South is SEC country, and anything north of Tennessee (Kentucky) is really pushing it. I don't consider either of my home states to be part of the South.

Papa Johns has too sweet of sauce. Dominos is the most cookie cutter of all. It is horrible. A smaller chain like Mazzios is better.
