Will Antrel Rolle suck again this year?

This dude needs to step it up. So far he has been average at best. Best play so far was his facemask on Larry Johnson.

The personal fouls were indicative of a guy who was not able to make clean plays on the ball carrier. If he can apply some better technique, that should not be his problem this season.

Well, if Rolle can't play better this year we are going to lose a lot of games again. Corner is a real problem area for this team.

This is one of the main reasons why I don't think this is our year. Our safeties are first-rate, but our corners leave much to be desired with how they've played in their careers (to be fair, I am not including Hood in that). In this division, if you don't have talented corners, you're going to get beat repeatedly.

No doubt the Corners are now our biggest question mark. Last year they were terrible, and all we really did was add Hood who as a Nickel Corner in Philly.

Hopefully they will benefit from better coaching this season, we'll just have to see. Hopefully we can get a good power running game going, eat the clock and not have to depend on our secondary as much. I think the best way to help our Corners is to stop going 3 and out on every possession.

I think now that we have a real DB coach, Rolle will play better. Remember we were without Berry's pressure for much of the season also. Does Rolle need to get better? Sure, most on this team do. But I don't think he sucked. You can't pin that on one player....not on this team and the coaching that was here...

I completely agree with everything you've said, except that I would ad Rod Hood inot that group of players.

But I think that the secondary is overall better this year, and that WILL show, since now er have greater depth, and with depth comes more competition, and that creates better players... at least that's how it should work :D
