Much going on with replacement refs and failed negotiations to include accusations of the NFL leadership conspiring to lock out referees/officials. Last year the lockout, this year the refs (can we just have a normal year of play already?) This could create debate whether fans think NFL management is doing a good job. However with this post, I'm more concerned if replacement NFL refs will result in games that are not as enjoyable; questionable (as in second guessing missed calls) and possible harm to players? The second link directly states tht replacement refs would make games more dangerous.
I know some might debate it couldn't be any worse and provide numerous examples of missed calls; there will always be the "missed call" debate, but I'm trying to approach this with first the players safety and second, quality play on the field (after spending hard earned cash to watch the game).
What do you think of this whole situation with the pro refs getting locked out with replacement refs? Will it hurt the Cardinals or be the same old story in the long run?
It has been brought up before actually. It does not look like you can go beyond the first page of post so I can't show you the link.
Actually I just searched and found it so hear you go.

I don't want to include these stats, they make me look worse than I really am.
