The dates are weeks away but someone always asks about mandatory roster cuts dates for the season:

Aug. 28: Roster cutdown to 80 players
Sept. 2: Roster cutdown to 53 players (expect some pricey talent to hit the open market this week)

Sept. 9 First game, Seattle at Arizona, 425 EDT

I though Skelton was atrocious today. Yesterday he was really bad, but he definitely outdid himself today. He threw for two touchdowns, but my eyes cannot forget what they saw today. I wanted to give him a chance to start because I thought he was going to become our QB of the Future. To me, what i have seen today and yesterday, was heartbreaking. I really wanted to see him succeed. I wanted us to finally groom our own franchise qb...You have to be a delusional to like what you have seen today and yesterday out of Skelton.

Again he threw for two TD's, but here are a few of the disheartening lowlights that got my mojo down. He missed a wide open Sampson by at least 6 feet when Adams slipped in coverage. Also, on an earlier play mike Adams dropped what should have been a pick right in the bread basket. He had Fitz open on the sideline but threw the ball way out of bounds (at least 5 yards out). Peterson then picks off Skelton in the redzone (bad throw, ok coverage). Overthrows Roberts in the back of the end zone, open. He then throws a very wild throw down the middle to Wilson for the int...I didn't see any receivers close to where the ball ended up. Then, overthrows FItz again and also overthrows one of the rb's, on a dump off, by like at least 3 feet over his head..WOW

Yeah, I was either delusional or just OBJECTIVE.
