lol @ weak arm, thats not even close to the issue on him. He doesnt have a noodle arm he just has terrible pocket prescence

Skelton just throws the ball doesnt matter if Fitz is quadruple teamed he says F it and throws it anyways, as opposed to Kolbe where everything has to be exactly perfect or he's not throwing it at all. Thats what the Cards are working with

Ignorance and insults do not make up for the fact that Kolb is a mediocre career back up. Kolb is still uninspiring and aloof with the team. From observation, Kolb does not seem engaged with the team. The non tangible aspects of the QB position such as leadership are important also. Blah Blah Blah the defense was learning early in the year. The fact is the team rallied around Skelton. Larry lobbied for Kolb initially but Larry said last year that Skelton is the guy on the team he wants with him if facing people with bad intentions. Skelton has heart and is a tough guy. The team respects that. Kolb shows fear in the pocket and has injury issues. Kolb just does not inspire confidence in himself.

Kolb was an overhyped player when drafted by the Eagles. He has more time in the league than Skelton. Kolb should be far ahead of Skelton in technical ability and his leadership skills. Kolb eerily reminds one of Matt Leinart in his interactions with the team. By the way, where are all of the team members rallying around Kolb? No one on the team is sold on the guy, not even the executives or coaching staff.

Kolb signed the $60 million contract we foolishly offered him. Backing up the truck and dumping money to a mediocre career backup does not work all of the time. Unfortunately, even Kolbs strongest supporters have to admit Kolb is like Rob Johnson. How many games do we give Kolb?

Kolb has proven nothing in all of his years with the Eagles or Cards. He should be fighting to prove himself a better leader and QB than a late round small school QB. We just are not seeing it.

I want the Cards to win. I wish we had better choices at QB or at least a proven starter. Whether through competition or injury, Skelton will ultimately be our starter.

The problem with your theory is Skelton sucks. You better hope Kolb pans out or it's going to be a long year.

Not sure what you're getting at but as of now, they BOTH suck so you should hope one or both of them pans out.

All I'm getting at is Skelton isn't the savior people claim. Not saying Kolb is by any means. Just that if Kolb doesn't show it was the lock-out season that was the source of his struggles then it will be a long season.

I don't know why the assumption of a long season w John having to start... Though the team has won with him at QB, we can say the defense pick it up and all that stuff but they have performed well as a team with him as the starter and well wins are important. The season isn't lost. You may want a 4000 yard passer or something of that nature and he isn't the savior by any means but he isn't as bad as people make him out to be either. And those wins reflect that.
