Floyd at best gets a 'prove it ' deal and there'll be no comp pick.

Bethea and Dawson better not offset our comp picks for CC, Jefferson and Swearinger

Thats like losing a fleet of ferraris and getting a unicycle back.

Dawson and dansby will count. They are lower cost though which still puts us in good shape.

Yeah if either one of those are over $2 mil I would be surprised.

No media or fan knows the comp pick rules, but in general qualifying players get assigned "draft rounds" based primarily on the value of their contract, then with some adjustment for playing time and post season honors. So the huge contracts of CC and Jefferson in dollars and length will justify higher rounds than shorter, cheaper deals. Bethea is not a qualifying player as he was cut by the 49ers. Dansby's one year mercenary deal and whatever short deal Dawson gets might qualify as 6th and 7th round deals, for example, while CC and Jefferson could be 3rd rounders (the highest) and Swearinger's a 5th. Lower rounders do not cancel a higher, so we would lose none and get 2 3rds and a 5th. Maximum is 4 comp picks. If say CJ signed somewhere as a 6th level qualifying player, Dansby could cancel him out. But then if Minter also qualified as a 6th, Dawson would not cancel him and we'd get a 6th for him.

So by your knowledge of how comp picks work, how would you project our final comp picks for 2018?
