At least we all agree that #2 CB needs to addressed urgently. If PP21 should ever get hurt for an extended period of time (injured from returning kicks for example) the Cards secondary is in deep trouble.

IMO the depth in the secondary is to shallow.
Opinions are like armpits everyone has a couple & they usually stink.

This last 2 years really shows what a joke free agency in NFL has become. All one would need to do is see Brock Osweiler, Cooper, Jefferson, and some of these players and the rediculous deals they are getting. It's ruining the game and meanwhile, dynasty builders like NE just get stronger using this fuel and getting guys cheaper, getting guys who will take a pay cut for a championship. Teams should boycott trading with that empire. Tired of it.

So you're sick of the NFL and and the "rediculous" deals uh. it's "ruining the game" right?

Yet you are sick of and want teams to boycott the one organization that seems to do it right.

Do you see the travesty of your own post?

No, I honestly don't. If you don't like my opinion, don't read it.

The Cards would not have lost that Super Bowl game Atlanta had in the bag. We wouldn't even be having this discussion. Atlanta did so many things wrong to allow that legacy to continue. Just sickening.

What exactly are you sick of?

They traded a 1 for Cooks. Cooks is OK, but they could've used 32 on Zac Jones, who I think will be just as good, and had him cheap for 5 years.

They let Bennett walk and traded for Allen. Downgrade.

The let Ryan walk and signed Gilmore for same money. Downgrade.

Hightower tested FA and found there were no huge deals coming for an ILB with injury concerns.

    What's your point?

LOL.. Another "would have" "should have" guy. Are you related to VW?

Atlanta was IN the super bowl. They deserved to be. It was a great game. They lost.

Did you notice the cards did not make the Playoffs?

NE probably had the one of the best FA periods of any team.

Simply because they won the super bowl and did not have their team gutted. YOu have all that talent AND cap space.

Signing glimore and weakening a division rival. Huge plus.

Bennet was not a big factor on this team but Cook surely will be. Another speedy guy to go along with what they have. Geez.

And getting hightower back is just icing on the cake. They were ready to let him walk.

    Huge off season for NE.

They won the SB because they have Belichick as Head Coach and Brady (with a relatively small salary) as QB. Nothing else matters.

Cooks won't help as much as you think. His value comes solely on deep routes, but Brady makes his hay on quick hitters where precision and timing are paramount, and Cooks is a bit of a sloppy route runner.

Bennett was a match-up nightmare in two-TE sets with Gronk. Allen won't be. He's basically an in-line TE.
