    Lol at all the emotional overreaction. Look, the only two options were ALWAYS:

    1) Cut him
    2) Bring him in on a 1-year vet minimum deal (with possible incentives.)

    His release does not mean that the #2 option isn't still viable. While not likely, it's still possible that Washington receives zero interest from other teams, and comes back with his tail between his legs, willing to play for peanuts. Odds are slim, but you never know. Could be one reason why the language in the Cardinals statement was a bit open-ended with no final pot shot.

    Played at TCU --- hello Jerry Jones. However overthecap.com shows the Texans with a ton of cap space and I'd be happier having D'Wash play for an AFC team.
