So opener is a ?. Sucks but better now than down the road
Sounds like worst case scenario is missing season opener? Could have been worse games to miss. I mean, the Lions definitely have one of the worst running offenses in the NFL (Ranked 30th last year at 81 YPG). With Markus and Jones manning the pass rush, and ILB actually clogging up the middle, (And a healthy Tyrann), I think we can absorb this for one game if we have to.

    Obviously bad news

however this just means Olsen Pierre will get that playing time and that guy has been getting to the QB. So long as he stops tackling them by their head, he'll be fine.

Agreed, we seem to use our DL as more of a rotation, so while disappointing, I don't think it's a serious problem. Olson Pierre has looked decent in preseason, hope he can maintain that into the regular season.

True, but it IS bad news because the odds say that he is going to keep getting injuries based on this, and last year.
