    Default David Johnson

Today was a rough day for DJ... O-line didn't really create a lot in the way of running lanes and was incredibly ineffective because of it. That being said, did it bother anyone else how he looked like happy feet running? Seemed like he spent a lot of time dancing and (normally) that doesn't make the running game any better. We've seen that with Andre Ellington.

In no way am I casting doubt that DJ sucks or anything like that, just an observation as we anxiously await news on his injury.

He didn't seem to run with any urgency or burst, ran kind of soft and his fumble turned the game in a big way

Looks like DJ may miss some time. To have MRI Monday.

Barring the injury I think David Johnson looked fine running.

Hard to do anything when you're meeting 2 guys in the backfield.
I was gonna post a pic, but honey badger don't give a dang.

In a way, I blame the coaching staff on his performance.. he essentially played with bubble wrap all preseason long and looked like the game was a little fast for him.. I believe that was due to him playing less than 10 plays in the preseason...

I blame BA for DJ's injury. Every time BA proclaims the offence will run through the RB they have a bad year... The dude needs to keep his mouth shut.

Um, he had 100 combined yards with 1/3 of the game left to play. Would've had close to 150 yards. Not his best game, I agree. But a great game for most backs. That ball he caught inside the ten before getting drilled was ridiculous.
