Terrible, terrible news for a great player and a great guy. That said, it's a great opportunity for both Ellington and Williams to step up, and a great opportunity for Arians and his staff to work some late nights coming up with schemes to overcome.

This is the ultimate gut punch after the game yesterday. There is no replacing David Johnson. The Cardinals know what they have with Ellington and he was a candidate to be cut at the beginning of the year. He's out. I like Kerwynn, but I have no faith in him being a lead back. Penny is an unknown. Only other real option would be to explore the free agent market, but not much out there either. Chris Johnson is cooked but it wouldn't surprise me to see them turn back to him.

Some one has to play running back. But yeah, it won't be DJ back there and he is pretty much irreplaceable.

NO KR 26, you DON'T get it. We all understand that you're mired in the fallen sky and have given up after game ONE, but there are a few of us that believe there are players here, and a TEAM that has just a little more fight in them than you give them credit for!
    The question of Daryl Washington.

I haven't given up after one game.

I've given up after 1 game this season, after seeing the exact same thing in 16 games last season.

You can all go "ra ra ra" all you want, it won't change the fact that this team isn't good enough to be competitive against legitimate NFL talent.
