Distortions and more distortions, yet another one.

BA did not throw him anywhere. Barkley took the Bears offer over the Cardinals offer last year. At least get the facts right.

He saw a chance to play in Chicago last year. And he was right. He saw no chance to play last year here. Young QBs don't like to languish on the bench, especially when they feel they had just come out of a raw deal like Barkley did in Philadelphia.

As for happy campers around here? Where?

In the big scheme of things where the team is fighting for its pride and overcoming the avalanche of injuries to key players bringing Barkley back is acceptable. He has a few more starts in the league and is good with BA and the playbook. This helps the lockerroom because they have a familiar face running the scout team and gameplan preperation the rest of the way. Handing off to AP is all he needs to do if called upon for when Barkley would play we'd be on our fourth QB and the season would be toast. Who knows if BA and the staff will return next year, but,for now, Barkley is on board and ready for the 'bucket challenge.'

The Cardinals return to the practice field Tuesday, and coach Bruce Arians meets with the media following the workout. The team plays in Houston Sunday.

The Cardinals also officially placed tackle D.J. Humphries (knee), safety Tyvon Branch (knee) and tight end Ifeanyi Momah (ankle) on injured reserve.

In addition to adding Barkley, the team promoted defensive back Harlan Miller from the practice squad. They still have one opening on their 53-man roster.

Cornerback Jarell Carter, who was with the Cardinals part of the preseason, was signed to replace Miller on the practice squad.

Well if true about the Jureki report, that BG will be starting this week, sounds like they will be carrying 2 QB's. But if they do carry 3 QB's this week I wouldnt be shocked as they have BG and Barkley. Not the most reliable lineup so having Stanton there for emergency usage makes sense.

    "*except when we don't."

It's in the fine print, way, way down. Page 593 of the Arians Operational and Big Smack Manual, I think.

Agreed, I am perfectly comfortable with having Barkley back around the place.
