Hi, Cardinals fans. For the first time in his NFL professional career, Eli Manning is being benched for backup Geno Smith. Elisa Nelson Manning has started a total of 222 NFL games, including 210 regular season, and 12 postseason games, and 2 Super Bowls, wins over the New England Patriots, with the only team he has ever played for, the New York Football Giants.

Head Coach Ben McAdoo will start former N.Y. Jet QB Geno Smith, when the N.Y. Giants play at the Raiders in Oakland on Sunday, with Davis Webb as his backup down the stretch, the rest of the season.

This change does have an impact with the Arizona Cardinals, as they are scheduled to host these same N.Y. Giants for a Christmas afternoon Eve game at the University Of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale on December 24.

Eli through November 26, 2017, ranks second overall in all-time consecutive starting streaks played for an NFL quarterback behind Brett Favre with 321 total starts. Eli though is ahead of his older brother Peyton Manning with a total of 208 regular season, and 19 postseason starts, for a total of 227 total NFL starts at QB.

Eli and Peyton each already won at least two Super Bowl Titles for the N.Y. Giants (Eli), and the Colts and Broncos (Peyton). I would be safe to say each will be immortalized later to the Pro Football Hall Of Fame In Canton, Ohio.
