Schneider had losing seasons his FIRST TWO years with the team, so that box has already been checked.

Keim's team, meanwhile, went from 5 wins the year before his hire to 10 to 11 to 13.

    So, um..... yeah.

    Got it.
It doesnt matter how much you babble on about luck and injuries or good drafts and bad drafts.

Seattle is in the playoffs every year and have gone to two SB's.

    and us?

But the argument that the GM's are better is no where close to true.

Seattle is winning because of a great HC and a stud QB. Their GM is plain awful. Feel free to peruse through this mess of draft picks the last 4 years and tell me how this guy is good. Outside of some amazing hits, he has a gazillion misses.

John Lynch is still in diapers in SF. Still pending, but looking good. ()
The mark of a good GM is not just drafting studs but building depth for injuries. The last 3 drafts for Schneider have actually produced some quality starters and depth for their d-line and secondary. Not to mention their top draft pick this season has not even played a snap yet. Schneider has also made some big time moves in adding Sheldon Richardson and Duane Brown. To say "their GM is plain awful" is an ignorant statement. I think most posters here would give their left nut to swap GMs with Seattle right now.

That's it. Seattle has arguably been THE WORST team at drafting since 2013.
OK. Yet they still succeed. Schneider blows it over and over and over, but lo and behold they they are! Lots of injuries, just like the Cardinals, but in possession of a wild card spot if the season ended today. Resilient. Resourceful. Real accountability. Something. Lots of things, maybe, that differentiate them from the Cardinals. Maybe Kaojin can weigh in since he's in Seattle, but maybe Carroll doesn't whine about the quality of the players when his kicking game screws up several years running. I don't know, don't care, but the results are what matters and it's not close between the way the two teams work. It's not all Wilson.

Well we will see what happens when age and attrition catches up with the seashawks that is the nature of the beast.

Seattle won't make the playoffs. And if you go to their board, their fans are pretty rational about it.

    Richard Sherman
    Kam Chancellor
    Cliff Avril

Can't win missing 3 important starters.

Dallas won't make the playoffs. And if you go to their board, their fans are pretty rational about it.

    Ezekiel Elliott
    Sean Lee
    Tyron Smith

Can't win missing 3 important starters.

And BOTH those teams still have their QB!!!!!

    Now......

    QB
    RB1
    RB2
    LT
    LG
RT who had moved to LT
    WR2
    best run stopper NT/DT
sack leader from last year OLB
    $LB
    top-5 Safety (per PFF)

No need to over- or under-react to 2017, because a reasonable, fair analysis simply can't be made with all the key components missing. Throw it out. Hope for health in 2018.

OK, they won't make the playoffs. Might as well play it out and see, just the same. At least their fans go to games that matter and get to watch an upset. Cardinal fans go watch a team that can't kick a field goal. I'm jealous.

You mean like being severely shorthanded and yet beating the full-strength, 7-3, division-leading Jaguars?

Yep, you got me! Huge upset! Jaguars talked about as being every bit as good as the Eagles. Lifetime extension for The Whisperer!
