Steve Keim on his morning radio interview once again cited the unacceptable special teams and how things need to change.

    Prediction: Nothing will change.

Keim is no different than BA. All talk. No substance. Keim wont fire Amos.

It's progress I guess. Several weeks ago Keim's take was that us fans didn't have the privilege of watching Amos at work on the practice field, where we could all appreciate the greatness. We had to trust Steverino, he knew good coaching when he saw it.

But again, it's not a Jones issue anymore. An Arians issue, first and only.

They said his contract is up at the end of the year.

There is no way they give him a new deal.So this has to be his last year.Special Teams will be better next year with a new coach no doubt :fingercrossed:

My prediction from earlier on in this thread came true.

I was listening to Doug and Wolf this morning and sure enough, heard a Bruce Arians sound bite. "We coached it up all week and unfortunately we didn't execute."

I swear, this guy must be best friends with Whisenhunt.

I thought we were past the days of hearing terms like

    "Coach 'em up"

I swear, if I hear him use the words "moxie" or "swagger" I'm going to go crazy(well, crazier).
I was gonna post a pic, but honey badger don't give a dang.

I heard BA say that too and shift the blame onto the players. Its really disturbing to have a coach who won't accept accountability for his actions or his coaches actions. Its a sign of deep organizational rot. Bidwill needs to purge this destructive oligarchy.

    Yup. You're right.

Keim has no say over Arians' coaching staff. Zero. He cannot let Jones go unless he fires Arians, in which case everyone goes.

Firing Jones is exclusively under the control, per binding contract, of Bruce Arians.

For someone who professes to know so much about the NFL, I'm surprised you didn't know that most Head Coaches have control over their staff and the 46-man week-to-week roster.

Steve Keim controls the 90/53 man roster.

Letting his contract expire is the punkass way out. Keim doesnt have the cojones to overrules BA and fire Amos

Nothing is worse for the lockerroom and team culture than holding the players to one standard, and coaches to none. BA will rip players all day long. Cut these men who are trying to provide for their families. But Amos is protected. His paycheck comes every week no matter what.
