    Default Gabbert's Rating

Considering we might be rolling with Gabbert as our starting QB next year if Keim declines to pick a QB in the first round, what do you think of his performance so far this year?

B-/C+ - He has too many interceptions; however, he has also had some high points. I see him as more like a Stanton. A really good backup QB in the NFL who could come in and help if the starter is hurt for a game or two. He could also start next year while a rookie gets used to the NFL game. I do not see Gabbert as a long term solution to the Card's QB situation.

D plus. Numbers don't look good and neither does he. skittish in the pocket. Happy feet. Throws off balance on the wrong foot.

He had the reputation as not being able to process information well /quickly. That kind of stuff you never suddenly get. I think it's in your DNA.

    Definitely B.

His 1st start was an A.

He beat Jacksonville, which is a very good defense. B

Rough game vs LA, but had us in it till the missed FG killed us. C

    Works out to B average

    C. Keim needs to find the courage to grab the guy he likes even if it takes trading the house.

If Brady or even a Rodgers type is an A, Iíd call Palmerís time with us as starter a B+, Stantonís a C- and Gabbertís a C+/B-.

I want a B+ or better QB1 but then I want a lot of things.

Between Brady as A+ and Ryan Leaf F, Palmer is a B+. Heís had a much better than C career for the few athletes who make it as QB onto an NFL team.
