Default Colin kaepernick is not the original. Dave meggyssey was/link

Well before Kaepernick, Dave Meggyssey former Cardinal Linebacker
challenged the NFL system. He was the original voice of dissent.

Gene Upshaw and Meggyssey got the CBA going for the players.

He complains about college players not getting paid in the Cavett interview and
also the violence of the sport as well

I bring this up because this year more than any other THE NFL
may be at a crossroads. There are many more injuries, players
who are unhappy and fans who are upset.

We have had more than our share of injuries and upset fans.

This is the earliest dealing with injuries, racism, and Militarism.

He talked about injuries to players, the NFL system of bias,
    among other things.

There was a player Named Brian Demarco (jax i think)that was going to build a house up here in the Sedona area,he was a mountain of a man..at the time he was pretty outspoken about the NFL,he had spinal damage and they would pump him full of Pain killers every week to get him back on the field,he was in a big law suit with the NFL at the time and i don`t know what ever became of all of it..he never built the house so i`m guessing he lost

CK has run his course. No one will care who he is next year.
    Still searching for our QBOF.

Next year?.......it's already true as of this year. Cards for example went out and hired a QB that lost his starting opportunity to Kaepernick (who then put up better numbers) and we ended up pinning what little hopes we had left for postseason on him. Just one example.

    Default Option 12? No.

Since we're talking Johnny M, Michael F, and a German team's DE that runs a 7-second 40yd dash, I thought I'd check in on CK and see what he's up to this spring. No news there. Same-oh, same-oh CK. Using his name and being used to promote. 100% out of football now.

CK is still working out in hopes of a return. Here's the link. Somebody could possibly get a quality QB on the cheap.

Jon Gruden believes CK will end up on somebody's roster. I really wish the Cards would bring him into camp to assess if anything is left. We took in Blaine Gabbert who got the start over CK only to lose it back to CK and subsequently spun out with us also...........which says a lot given that he was given a chance to just beat out Drew Stanton.
