No such thing as Project QBs in the NFL.

If you want a better comparison: Christian Hackenberg

    - Tall
    - Sturdy
    - canon arm
    - Wheaties box smile

    - absolute dog poop college career blamed on teammates.

It really bothers me that scubs like that get drafted round 1 when superstars like Russ Wilson go round 3 because they are 5 centimeters too short.

Yes, the defense forced 5 turnovers that game, I think, and Cards still lost.

    That's hard to do.

I really like JS...wish he could have figured it out. Big, strong, could stand in the pocket and deliver a bullet. Of course he didn't know where he was delivering it to, but he looked good doing it.

Ryan Lindley had a gun for an arm in college. also a compl percentage less then 60.

I had listed very few QB's in a previous thread who ever had success with less then 60 in college.

    Run from these guys.

Ben Roethlisberger? Huh? That's a horrible comp.

Ben's junior year he had 0 out of 14 games throwing below 62%. That's 0% of the time.
Josh Allen had 8 out of 11 games throwing under 58.3%. That's 73% of the time.

    They aren't even close comps.

Here's a better one and he is entirely familiar.

Logan Thomas was under 60% 9 out of 13 games. That's 69% of the time.

Josh Allen IS Logan Thomas. (Only Logan played against tougher competition)

I am really hoping someone picks Allen ahead of us, just to push other QBs or position studs down to us. I think BA would have loved the kid but now Iím not thinking he will end up here. If he does, I will do my best to be a fan and support.

Wow, do any of you guys watch his games, or just look at a stat sheet?
There were similar, wildly inaccurate assessments about DeShaun Watson last year.
I think he is real top quality. Yes he was on a bad team this year, and his play dipped, especially early season. But his actual game tape shows he played wat beyond what a stat on a computer screen tells you.

Draft him and you have your franchise guy.
Logan Woodside is not a day three pick, he is the best QB in college.
