I'm not going to disagree with you. However there are many other things to consider.

Just for instance....I'm a old guy and my doctor says I need more calcium to keep my bones strong or I need to eat certain things to keep my joints healthy and on and on. Maybe we need a dietitian as well as strength and conditioning.

Also, what is the proper weight a given player should be. Do they bulk up or slim down. When and how should they stretch.

And yes, even proper techniques can reduce injuries.

All I'm saying, there are things that can help minimize injuries. Lets make sure we are doing all that can be done and not just say this is how we have always done it.
