did you notice how few balls were deep this year? BA changed his philosophy and credit to the old guy for doing so.

Our Oline was TERRIBLE. Iupati has been awful for two years. Not interested in playing football that was clear to see.

Valdheer was a turnstile in a subway system pretty well all year.

Shipley was AWFUL every game despite what you said about him being okay before.

Humphries is good but he's always hurt.

Boehn was an awful pick by Keim.

I have ZERO interest in "seeing how these guys perform in McCoy's system".

    Put your pom poms away.
Name one thing I said that's inaccurate. I'll wait....

We know that Veldheer was a very good LT, then struggled at RT, then played decently when moved back to LT.

We know Humphries looked very good at RT, then got hurt in the first quarter of his game as the new LT.

We know it shouldn't be hard to upgrade the C or RG positions.

We know whatever combination played (and there were LOTS of combinations last year) struggled to protect without help in an Arians system that REQUIRES all 5 guys to hold blocks for an inordinate amount of time, without any help.

What we do not know is how any or all of these guys, if healthy, would perform in a McCoy system.
We know we don't have a decent QB and haven't made the playoffs 2 straight years after getting our doors blown off in the NFC finals 3 seasons ago.

Too much changes from year to year, and too much rides on things you can't control.
Look at the NFC, Central, Rodgers, Stafford
    South: Brees, Newton, Ryan, Winston
East: Manning(near done), Wentz, Prescott, Smith
    West: Goff, Wilson, Garapalo,

    AFC:
East: Brady(Near Done), Buff ?, Jets?, Tannahill
    North: Rothlisberger(Near done)Flacco, Dalton, Taylor
    South:Bortles, Marriota, Watson, Luck(Maybe)
West: Rivers (near done), Carr, Mahomes, Keenum

The AFC has had 2 teams in the SB in the last 4 years. One of the QB's is done and the other is near done. The NFC has had 4 teams in the last 4 SB. The NFC is QB loaded while the AFC is in transition. The Jets are in perfect position with a good GM and HC, no QB, tons of cap space and lots of young talent and picks. They also won 10 games with Ryan Fitzpatrick. They are close and it's an easier path. MN is going to have trouble winning their division next year if Rodgers is healthy. There have been several periods where one Conference is way more dominant than the other. We are in a period where the NFC has more QB talent in their prime.

This is a truly depressing post.

The only hope is trading our first for Foles. We have really painted ourselves into a corner. This is where Keim earns his extension.

I don't think that would be a very good move.
