Default Vegas line: 5.5......over or under?

They have the Cards and Browns in the basement for the 2018 season. Is there $$$ to be made there? I'm takin' the over....

Over, but just barely. Most wins I see is 7. And if that's the case I hope they don't win more than 6. Better draft position next year. Then your sitting in the top 10 and can listen to some serious trade offers.

I'm going there soon for my brothers 50th birthday.
Don't think I will be placing any money on the Cards. Too many what ifs.
I will just sit and hope it is more. Now the Cards have their QB, the building work can begin. Hopefully that doesn't include a top 5/10 pick next year.
Logan Woodside is not a day three pick, he is the best QB in college.

I'm going to say over and pretty easily. This team should do no worse than 6-10 and has upside to go 12-4. I think 9-7 is most realistic.
Big thanks to DUSK884 for the sweet avatars!

Depends how good our coach is . Bradford will likely get injured. After that we got a rookie (whom I am excited for ) and Glennon. We also have a tough division.

I can see anything from 3-13 to 11-5 this year.

Way over, are you kidding me? We won 8 last year with a bucket of fisheads. Now we have 2 better QBs and a bonafide #2 WR and David Johnson back.

That is why I am so thrilled we got Rosen without giving up our 2019 1st rounder.

I am hopeful we will be a decent team next year, and I think we have a chance to be better than decent....BUT....If we are as bad as a lot of people think we will be we will be one of the teams that control the offseason.

If your telling me we are going to suck in 2018, entering the offseason with Rosen waiting in the wings, a top 7 pick in the draft, and 100 million in cap space makes this season ok-ish.

We could trade down multiple times and end up with some great extra picks in 2019 and 2020 drafts...or we could draft a straight up stud that is a cornerstone for a decade.

The pressure on Rosen would be 1000% more if we had given up multiple 1sts.

If you just took the OVER on Arizona and the UNDER on Dallas every year for the past decade, you would be 16-4, so that should tell you how skewed the betting public's view is of those two teams. Vegas (rightly so) sets premiums on Dallas and encourages money on Arizona OVER to balance their books. Sportsbooks could care less about the actual outcome (if they aren't exposed.) Their #1 goal is to get even money on both sides, scoop the 10% vig, and call it a day.

And for reasons beyond understanding people don't get the simplicity of this basic equation.
Time travellers are making being a fan hard for the rest of us.
