LeRon McCoy a 9er

The 49ers spent Tuesday holding team meetings aimed at boosting their struggling offense, but still found time to make a roster move, signing wide receiver LeRon McCoy and waiving tackle/tight end Patrick Estes. McCoy, (6-foot-1, 219 pounds), was taken in the seventh round of the 2005 draft by the Arizona Cardinals. As a rookie in 2005, McCoy played in 10 games with four starts as a receiver and special-teams player. He had 18 receptions for 191 yards and one touchdown. He spent the 2006 season on injured reserve after injuring his thumb in training camp. McCoy, who went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania, was waived by the Cardinals before the start of the 2007 regular season. edit: i would like to wish him luck, but you know........................ .........
