found this on kffl.com --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lions | Marinelli impressed by B. Davis
Tue, 29 Jul 2008 13:00:39 -0700

Nicholas J. Cotsonika, of the Detroit Free Press, reports Detroit Lions head coach Rod Marinelli said LB Buster Davis has been a beast. "He's been a beast," Marinelli said. "He's been here every day. I asked him to lose weight. He lost weight. He's thinner. He's moving well. He's got real good awareness. Boy, he's physical now. He's a physical player."

lol maybe if he grows 2 inches maybe next year.

We said the same thing about him last year in TC. Then he got run over on every play for the whole preseason. We'll see.

Buster Douglas pulled off a huge shock when he knocked out Mike Tyson, but helping Detriot's defense this year would be an even greater shock.

I think he meant Busta Rhymes...that guy has been putting some weight on lately, no wonder Marinelli got him all in check.
