ME: I never would have guessed that Levi Brown did the WORST job of any ORT in the LEAGUE.

I hope our Coach knows all of these stats.I wonder how many CARDINAL fans knew how well that our center did in this part although I myself watching every play we had this year saw more than was recorded on Sendlein on my own. Each team turns in its own stats. We must improve.I just wonder what the best way to attack it would be?

I never thought Latui would have done as well as he did either.Wonder if any change is brewing for our Offensive Tackles? Giving up almost a dozen sacks is just too much for a FIRST ROUNDER..OUCH!!!

Wonder what our playoff stats were. Anybody could've told you our o Line sucked in the regular season.

Seriously, does anyone have the same stats for the postseason when the guys played MUCH better?

Exactly what I was thinking as well, they went playing lights out during the playoffs. Its no surprise that Levi Brown played poorly during the season, but I didnt think the very bottom type of poorly. Lyle was a surprise when I saw this also.

On other teams, how about Ryan Clady being the top LT last year? I know several people were saying he was the best left tackle in the draft not Long.

Anyways if a promising OT slips to us in the 1st or 2nd round, I'm all for that option.

Unless you break it down to sacks per passing attempts it really does'nt mean that much. Look at the Titans they were top five except at LG. Could it be because they are a run first offence?

P. S. stats are fun but they never tell the whole story.

The Cardinals must run the ball effectively to back the pass rush down. Kurt Warner gets rid of the ball and makes his reads so quickly that the running deficiency didn't show up in terms of sacks allowed. However, there were far too many occasions when the offense was off the field quickly and unable to get a blow for the defense because Kurt had to hurry his passes. I wonder what the numbers would show if we had a list of the amount of pressures each lineman surrendered.

Now that is a figure that the coaching staff does have and I'd be really surprised if we don't see something change in terms of a power running game to slow down opposing ends and LBs. The answer to slowing up the pass rush has always been an effective running game to keep the defense honest and I'm sure that is exactly what the Cardinals are scheming for in terms of (I know this sounds stupid) improving the offense.
