Unhappy What Do These Numbers Have In Common: 1, 2, 10, 15, 19 ?

These numbers are Kurt Warner's new stats after Week 8...

1: Kurt is 1st in the NFL in pass attempts per game with 40.5

2: Kurt is tied with 2nd place in the NFL at throwing interceptions holding that spot with none other than Chicago QB Jay Cutler at 11 INTS, with Jake Delhomme holding down the worst spot in the NFL at 13.

10: Kurt holds 10th place in the NFL at completion % at 65.4%

15: Kurt is 15th in the NFL for Touchdowns with 11.

19: Kurt is 19th in the NFL in Passer rating with 81.5

Some would argue that lack of O-line Protection has hindered his stats, "rattling" his confidence and accuracy. Kurt Warner has been sacked 14 times in the season now. These assertions have been disproved however with the example of another NFL QB who has all similar stats as Warner except for 3 areas of concern:

Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay has had little protection and been sacked a league high 31 times (over twice that of Warner), yet his passer rating is the best in the NFL at 110.4 and another incredible stat, through all of that lack of protection and 31 sacks, Rodgers has only thrown 2 interceptions so far in 2009.

Any thoughts?

1. Green Bay have a proper running game

2. Rodgers can scramble

3. Whiz isnt their OC

Let`s see Green Bay is 4-3, in 2nd place & if the playoffs started today out of the playoff picture.Seems those 31 sacks were very costly.Maybe Rogers should throw the ball away more instead of holding it too long.Perhaps he just can`t read a defense or has forgotten how to play.Maybe he`s just too old to get it done.Maybe his arm hurts or his hip is bothering him.Maybe his helment is on too tight. Really the fans there should be calling for his head.

Don`t look now Kurt but some of the fans think you have lost it since January/Febuary when you led us to the SB & almost won it. The best thing you can do now is just step aside & let the great Matty take his rightfull spot & lead this great franchise into the future.Bottom line Kurt is you suck ,so we are going to go with your backup he can`t be any worse than you.Well to be honest ,the only way he can do better is win the SB.A tall order indeed.

It is too late to bring an OC in this season. The only possibility is to let Warner call the plays at the LOS and have whiz focus on game plan, package and schemes.

well i know that but i doubt that will happen. if it did then we would be in no huddle the whole game. even though we work well in the no huddle

If that happens forget about any attempt at a run game too. At this point id take it for some consistency.
