Off the field he's an even better man.

My all time favorite.
He is also a football Nostradamus. I went to the MNF game where he was put into our Ring of Honor, and he said he saw a superbowl for us. Me and my buddy were like, this year? Yeah right! Well it happened.

I remember being at that NFC Championship game, and after we won, they replayed that on the jumbo tron. Man what a moment. Crow tasted pretty good as well that day.

Wow...you are a sixties guy.

Larry Wilson.....probably the only guy to intercept a pass with both hands broken and in a cast.

Jackie Smith....made being a tight end cool....

Neil gave a look like watch out NFL there could be some trickery coming. 1984 was so much fun until the kick went wide taking us out of the playoffs. I remember laying in front of the TV with my playoff tickets in hand. That was killer. Almost as bad as being in TB stadium when Holmes ended our SB.

Although I love this thread, it would be so difficult for me to answer with just "one favorite Cardinal."
I have loved this team since I was a kid and they were playing here in St. Louis. My first favorite was Pat Tilley, because he was always open on 3rd down, and he always converted for 1st down. I loved Mel Gray, OJ Anderson, Neil Lomax, Stump Mitchell, Roy "Jetstream" Green, Anquan Boldin, Jake Plummer, Frank Sanders, Rob Moore, David Boston (was amazing as a Cardinal, everyone knew he was Jake's only target that year, and he still caught for nearly 1600 yards), Johnny Johnson (who I still think was better as a rookie than Emmitt Smith, but on a far worse team), Aeneas Williams (should be in the Hall of Fame...have you compared his stats with Deion Sanders?), Adrian Wilson (of course), Darnell Dockett, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Patrick Peterson, Larry Fitzgerald (first class, just like Aeneas), etc...
These are just the names that first came to mind. I am a Die Hard Big Red fan and I love everyone who wears the uniform!
AZ.
