Crying? Whatever dude. When you said the TE position is the weakest on the team you "straight up" lost your credibility. You must not have noticed the times Housler was behind the secondary last season only to be woefully overthrown by Kolb. To say that Heap is "done" is nothing more than your opinion and I have a feeling there aren't a lot of folks that agree with you there.
Fitz said a while back that he felt the TE position was the strongest on the team, and I tend to think he knows a lot more about it than you do. To just out of the blue say that they "suck" tells me that you're prone to making rash statements with no basis in fact. It's exactly the same as Bugsby always saying that John Skelton is stupid and will never be a starter in the NFL.
Pfffffffffffttt.....

I'm going on a limb and saying the qb battle will be won in camp. We all know both qbs can play against starters to a degree, unless one of them turns onto peyton manning and Tom Brady's love child over night

Thanx for your reports from Flag. every year. I need it worse than a hog needs slop. Any position battles, players rising or falling, anything you think noteworthy is OK with me. Thanx again, and have fun.

In Flagstaff Cards defense, Heap's ability to stay healthy is a legitimate concern. King was the most consistent and depedible at the position last year, but is coming off an offseason injury that required surgery and may miss part of camp. Housler is unproven. Sure he got open a handful of times that could have resulted in big gains, but he was too inconsistent in the passing game for a TE that was drafted for his pass catching abilities. He needs to improve his blocking too. The TE position is far from being where it needs to be. Having said all this, it is a position that should be closely watched and reported on from camp.

In 11 years he has played 81% of the games. He has really only missed significant time in 04 & 07.

It is not like he is the only guy in the league to pull a hammy last year. With limited offseason work last year players were pulling hammys all over the place.

The reality is that while he makes his starts he does miss snaps.

He's loved, respected and talented but injuries and missed reps will kill you.
He isn't young like wells where you can say he has time to get healthy

I will give you that but it is not like he is done either. He is also a great guy for Housler and Dray to learn from.

Yeah if anyone can prove to me they thought king would be our top TE last year after signing him, I'll give you gods autograph on a million dollar bill.
