great move by the org, lock him up early, add some years to his deal. He will get more money now, we can spread the cap hit over more years. win win.

Since he once said on The Big Red Rage show that he wanted to play for 9 years (or was it 8?), this idea isn't too far fetched, lol.

They are talking about extending him earlier
As a young elite player, he is talking about wanting to stay here.

Nothing about this screams "same old Cardinals."

Love D-Wash, I want him here FOREVER.
Well said!! These are building blocks essential to a successful franchise. This is a by product of the Fitz signing and Adub leading by example!! I'm excited for our future!

Well he hasn't signed anything yet.
I'm glad they are talking about it and it sounds like he wants to be a leader so hopefully some people around here will be able to say "Dansby who".
Maybe they can get him signed before next pre-season.

Front office has stepped up as far as keeping our core together...The next one in line that i could think of would be Peterson and he's not for a few years

Get it done Graves and Co.

Couldnt have said it better. The sooner the F.O. gets this extension done the more money they will be saving themselves in the long run. This kid is a very good player now with little to no NFL recognition at the moment. That is definitely going to change in the next year or two when I think he will emerge as one of the top 5 ILB in the league.
